Midland, Texas - South Carolina diver Allison Brennan placed second at the U.S. Open Diving Championships on Sunday, April 10 in the women's three-meter springboard competition. Brennan finished with a score of 764.79 with senior Holly Hodges also competing and placing ninth with a score of 623.40. Brennan, a 2004 NCAA champion on the one-meter, red-shirted this past year and will be a senior for the 2005-06 season on the Carolina women's swimming and diving team.
